Taylor + Jonathan – 07/28/2018

Although our second wedding (and our second non-local couple) of 2018, Taylor and Jonathan hold the honor of the first couple to actually host their wedding ceremony onsite.  They chose our gorgeous Estate Lawn as the spot for their nuptials, with our two ponds and Penns Creek Mountain serving as the backdrop.

For their ceremony focal point, Taylor and Jonathan rented our rustic wooden archway; two sprays of florals and a silky champagne-colored swag framed the archway.  Our white resin ceremony chairs were arranged in a arc, with each row featuring a decorative watering can filled with baby's breath and a chalkboard sign with a portion of the 1 Corinthians 13 "Love is" verse.  Beverages in big ice buckets were set out near the chairs for pre-ceremony refreshments, along with various sunscreens and bug sprays.

Taylor and Jonathan wrote and said their own vows, and many had tears in their eyes through the touching ceremony.  And, with a bubble send-off, the married couple and their wedding party rounded the Estate Lawn to the Terrace Garden where cocktail hour ensued.  A staggered row of six foot tables lined the back perimeter of the brick patio. Guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers from Ard's Farm Market Catering, in addition to lawn games, while listening to keyboard and guitar music provided by a portion of Bachelor Boys Band.

The party was moved into the Bank Barn for speeches, toasts and dinner.  Dinner was served buffet style in the north end bay, while beverages and a kid's activity table were stationed in the south end bay.  The cake and cupcakes station, displayed on a Jack Daniels' Barrel Table, was also located in the north end bay.

Taylor and Jonathan's sweetheart table was in the middle main bay of the barn, just inside the barn doors and looked to the east/towards the Mansion.  The opposite side of the middle main bay was the band's location, and the entire rest of that bay was left open for dancing.  Guest tables filled the two side main bays.  Stringed lights were wrapped around various barn beams, along with flowing fabrics.  Two crystal chandeliers from Romantique Collection helped the overall barn look rustic yet refined.

Bachelor Boys Band had the party going and the dance floor full. Taylor and her father entertained guests with a specially choreographed dance sequence during the Father-Daughter Dance. At the close of the evening, a special sparkler send-off sent Taylor and Jonathan onto their wedded way.

We were honored to help Taylor and Jonathan celebrate their union with friends and family.  Congratulations, Taylor and Jonathan, and happiest wishes for your new life together.
